Lauren Saltzburg, D.O., MBA, MA

Founder & Chief Surgeon

Dr. Saltzburg is a native of Southern New Jersey and has resided in Philadelphia for the past 16 years. After graduating from The Hill School in Pottstown, PA, Dr. Saltzburg completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University. She continued her nursing career at the prestigious Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia before beginning medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Saltzburg is the only PCOM graduate to have ever completed a triple-degree program while in medical school. While completing her medical degree, she simultaneously obtained her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Administration and Master of Arts (MA) in Biomedical Ethics from St. Joseph’s University. She completed her Family Medicine residency training outside of Philadelphia, where she served as the Chief Resident and was also awarded Resident of the Year.

She now practices full-time in Linwood, NJ. Dr. Saltzburg is a member of the International Society for Hair Restoration Surgery and is committed to advancing the field of Hair Restoration globally. Additionally, she and her Luminary team attend multiple continuing education conferences yearly in Aesthetic and laser treatments to bring their patients the most advanced therapies in the field.

Hunter Yard

Director of Hair Restoration

As Luminary’s Director of Hair Restoration, Hunter Yard is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and has completed advanced hair restoration training in Prague, Los Angeles, Bangkok, St. Louis, Kansas City, Nashville and Boston. Trained in the most advanced hair restoration techniques in the industry, Hunter assists Dr. Saltzburg in every hair transplantation procedure, all while providing personal attention for each patient. “I do everything I can to help patients feel better about themselves, both internally and externally. I truly believe a healthy mind equals a healthy body. My goal is to help every patient feel comfortable and relaxed.”

A lifelong health professional, Hunter has a B.S. from UNC Charlotte in Health, Fitness, Kinesiology and Sports Medicine.  Hunter enjoys weight lifting, kayaking, running, biking and other outdoor activities and adventure. Previously a state wrestling champion and All-American athlete, Hunter brings his high standards of excellence and attention to detail to the aesthetic industry.

Gina Osbeck

Director of Medical Aesthetics

An Atlantic County native, Gina Osbeck has been an aesthetician in South Jersey since completing her training at Rizzieri Institute in 2001. With nearly two decades of experience, Gina brings a wealth of beauty industry knowledge to each and every patient, providing the individualized treatment needed to bring out your own inner glow. “I like to take the time to get to know each patient on an individual basis, understanding what their skin concerns are, how much time they have to take care of their skin, whether cost is a consideration in their skincare routine and just to get to know them as people.”

Gina has been trained in the highest level of our medical-grade HydraFacial treatments, as well as dermaplaning, laser hair removal, microdermabrasion and microneedling, which can be used for skin resurfacing of fine lines and wrinkles, skin tightening, acne scar removal, and scar removal. Gina is also fully trained in bio-enhancements for skin rejuvenation. In addition, Gina is proficient in using our award-winning 3D Visia Skin Analysis software to help determine the most important aesthetic needs for your skin.

When she’s not with patients at Luminary, Gina enjoys spending time with her 13-year old son and 15-year old daughter. She’s a member of our local Linwood School Board and is an active volunteer in the community. She enjoys our beautiful local beaches and traveling during her time off.

Jessica Matthews

Office Manager

As the first friendly face you’ll see at Luminary, Jessica Matthews strives to make you feel comfortable the moment you walk in Luminary’s door. Whether it’s answering questions, scheduling appointments or following up after procedures, Jessica is the person you go to. With over a decade of experience in management in the beauty industry, Jessica makes sure our office keeps running smoothly and our patients are comfortable.

Born and raised in Cape May County, Jess lives in the area with her husband Joe, her three children, Golden Retriever Dutch and cat Jax. They enjoy soccer, lacrosse, surfing and of course our beautiful local beaches.

Dr. Michael Saltzburg, D.O.

Luminary Medical Advisor

Dr. Michael Saltzburg serves as Chief Medical Advisor for Luminary Cosmetic Medicine & Hair Restoration, drawing upon his expertise in minimally invasive regenerative therapy, including exosomes. Exosome therapy is a minimally invasive procedure commonly used in orthopedic injuries, hair replacement, for anti-aging and some other degenerative diseases.

Dr. Saltzburg has over 30 years of experience as a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon, with an emphasis on general orthopedics, sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. He was one of the first orthopedic surgeons in the country to use electrical acupuncture, laser treatments and sclerotherapy in chronic pain management.

His accomplished career includes previously serving as President of the American Academy of Specialists in Orthopedic Surgery as well as serving as the Medical Director of the Occupational Medicine, Rehabilitation Medicine and Sports Medicine at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Altoona.
